When Should You Call an Emergency Vet?
If you are unsure whether your pet needs emergency care, always call. It is better to check than to wait. Contact Vet to You immediately if your pet is showing any of the following signs:
Difficulty breathing, choking, or gasping
Collapse, loss of consciousness, or inability to stand
Suspected poisoning or swallowing a foreign object
Severe bleeding that does not stop within a few minutes
Seizures or convulsions
Trauma — hit by a vehicle, fall from height, or animal attack
Extreme lethargy, pale or white gums
Inability to urinate (especially in cats — this is a life-threatening emergency)
Vomiting or diarrhoea with blood, or more than three times in an hour
Eye injuries or sudden loss of vision
Swollen, hard, or visibly painful abdomen
Suspected broken bone or severe lameness
Out of sort and not itself

Call us — Ring 07305 131580. Tim will answer, assess your pet's situation, and confirm he is on his way.
We come to you — Tim arrives at your home fully equipped with medications, diagnostics, and the tools to treat your pet on the spot.
Your pet is treated at home — In most cases, treatment can be administered at home. If hospitalisation is required, Tim will advise on the best next steps and refer appropriately.
Ongoing support — After a visit, Tim remains available via WhatsApp for follow-up questions and monitoring advice.
